The Facility Commissioning and Turnover (FCAT) unit provides commissioning oversight and turnover assurance ensuring that all building systems and equipment delivered for the Spent Fuel Handling Recapitalization Project (SFHP) meet the Owners Project Requirements and are ready for operational this role you will support FCATs review and verification of commissioning activities performed by a contracted third party Commissioning Agent.
As an Intermediate Computer & Electrical Engineer you will evaluate controls system readiness confirm technical alignment with design intent and perform technical oversight of configuration integration and operational performance. You will collaborate with engineering teams contractors end-users and the third party CxA to ensure system issues are resolved prior to turnover. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys multidisciplinary analytical work field based technical problem solving and ensuring high reliability systems meet acceptance criteria before being handed off to operations.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion LLC (FMP) a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations.
