Job Summary/Basic Functions

An EKU Interior Finisher Tech II completes the initial construction and repairs of university floors walls and ceilings. An Interior Finisher Tech II will have knowledge and abilities to work with various finish materials such as ceramic plaster drywall paint caulk VCT LVT carpet etc. This position will work closely with the Craft Foreman and Structural Supervisor to complete work orders assigned in a quality timely and safe manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3 years or an equivalent combination of education experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

Licensure & Certifications: Requires a valid state drivers license.

Job Duties:

80% - Performs the planning installation maintenance and repair of finish surfaces of all University facilities. - (Essential)
15% - Maintains records of time materials and resources according to established procedures and as directed - (Essential)
5% - Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University - (Essential)
