Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) for an exciting opportunity at an inpatient acute care facility in Tucson AZ.
Position Details:
Location: Tucson AZ
Start Date: November 2026
Schedule: Full-time day shift
Setting: Inpatient Acute Care
Duration: Short-term interim assignment
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
Manage pharmacy staff inventory and medication distribution systems.
Provide pharmacist staffing support as needed.
Requirements:
Previous inpatient Director of Pharmacy experience required.
Active Arizona Pharmacist license required.
Strong leadership and hospital pharmacy operations experience.
