Apply today to be part of a community that values innovation collaboration and excellence in education.*The Intensive Academic Support Teacher vacancy at Whelan is considered a highly specialized accordance with Article VII Section 5(e) of the Local 920 Collective Bargaining Agreement A teacher shall not be eligible to transfer from a highly specialized position such as MLL severe/profound or mild/moderate positions for the initial three (3) years of placement in said position except as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent.*This position is a union position within the North Providence Federation of Teachers Local 920 American Federation of Teachers AFL-CIO. Compensation for this role is paid in accordance with the salary schedule found on page 4 of the Local 920 Collective Bargaining Agreement (linked here) with the specific step placement determined by your years of relevant experience.
