Job Summary

- You will be responsible for assisting all aspects of the planning managing coordinating and evaluating training education and outreach for integrated prevention programs.
- You will You will maintain program and administrative reference materials project and program files available policies procedures and written instructions.
- You will support implementation and participate in prevention programs and related program management activities.
- You will review and coordinate prevention actions and projects across programs to ensure completion dates are met within established timeframes.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a government issued passport.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying social science frameworks to evaluate consult and advise on integrated prevention programs that promote healthy resilient climates across diverse settings.
Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of management staff and military personnel.
Experience using various automated systems and software to collect and organize data from databases.
Experience composing clear and concise written reports and material.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:
In lieu of specialized experience you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience provided it demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position for the GS-11 position:
3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
