Location: Cedar Grove NJ fully on-site with an in-office environment designed for collaboration mentorship and substantive hands-on legal work.

Note: Must have active New Jersey and New York bar admissions and at least 1 year of New York-based insurance defense experience.

Job Description

• Manage a diverse insurance defense caseload representing insurance carriers.
• Develop and execute long-term litigation strategies designed to protect client interests.
• Conduct fact and expert witness depositions.
• Work closely with industry medical and technical experts to develop case strategy and strengthen defenses.
• Analyze case issues assess exposure and identify practical litigation solutions.
• Draft and review high-quality legal correspondence pleadings motions discovery and other litigation documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel experts and internal team members.
• Manage competing deadlines and maintain organized case files throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• 1 year of New York-based insurance defense experience required.
• Active New Jersey and New York bar admissions required.
• Experience conducting fact and expert witness depositions.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and case management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities in a fast-paced litigation practice.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
