Job Description:

APPOINTMENT: January 2027

RESPONSIBILITIES:The School of Accounting and Business Administration in the College of Business Health and Community Programs invites applications for an Instructor of responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate instruction in both traditional in-person and online formats. Service to the School College University profession and community is expected.

RANK & SALARY: 9-month non-tenure track position. $42012 - $70002 per year commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree in Finance or closely related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in Finance or a related area.
  • Demonstrated ability or potential for effective teaching at the undergraduate level.
  • Commitment to student-centered teaching and applied learning.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior teaching experience in Finance or related business disciplines.
  • Experience teaching in online or hybrid formats.
  • Ability to contribute to graduate instruction in an MBA program.

For a degree to be considered it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.

Student Resources

The Universitys athletics program based on the Macomb campus sponsors 17 NCAA Division I intercollegiate mens and womens varsity sports. Football competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision through the Missouri Valley Football Conference; all other varsity sports compete at the Division I level through The Summit League.
