The Instructional Assistant provides support to the classroom teacher and is under his/her immediate direction; this may include supporting in a general education or self contained special education classroom setting or as a 1:1 in either academic vacancy is intended as a roving position one that may be in various academic and grade level settings throughout their day.
High School Diploma or GEDAA Degree or 48 College Semester Units or Passing (70%) of County-wide Instructional Assistant Examination Minimum Proficiency Test. Experience working with school age childrenFingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
