Job Summary

Reports to a Training Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for the training analysis design development and maintenance of technical training materials. The technical training is developed for qualification of personnel positions in plant operations maintenance laboratory radiological control organization engineering and/or other technical support personnel.

This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction control and supervision of WTCC

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

Minimum Requirements per DOE O 426.2:

1. Baccalaureate of Arts (BA) Degree

NOTE: The instructional analysts/developers should have a baccalaureate degree in Training or Education. Instructional Analysts/Developers must have courses in education or training that focus on instructional analysis design development delivery and testing as well as evaluation of training programs if not included in the baccalaureate course material.

AND

2. At least1 yearjob-related experience.

Preferred candidates will have:

  • At least 8years technical experience in operations maintenance or related technical position in Naval Nuclear Department of Energy Nuclear or Commercial Nuclear Operations.

  • Experience in technical training material development.

  • Proficiency using VISION for training processes.

Progression to the next grade is based upon complexity of assignment and sustained performance.

MAJORRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

Administering technical training process activities using various media and software including:

  • Developingand Implementing Training(egclassroom exams on-the-job training) - analysis design development delivery testing and evaluation of training course material:

  • Conduct needs and job analysis to identify training requirements (egvalid task list training requirements matrix)

  • Design training including determination of training setting and development of learning objectives evaluation standards and examination test items.

  • Develop training materials including lesson plans and trainee support materials.

  • Conduct classroom on-the-job simulator and/or laboratory training as applicable.

  • Assist line management in the evaluation of training program

  • Revising Training - perform impact review(s) and incorporate revisions due to program changes procedure changes lessons learned operating experience and/or other impacts.

  • Coordinate and communicate between the training organization and other line management or support organizations to ensure training needs are identified and met through effective training.

  • Perform observations and assessments to ensure activities are implemented safely and effectively in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Support a strong Nuclear Safety Quality Culture (NSQC) by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of workin order toprotect self others and the environment.

Performs desk work including writing computer workstation processes and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations oral reports planning meetings and other formal and informal contacts requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections testing and equipment operations which requires walking standing bending and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading transport and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.

  • This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule M-Th 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Amentumvisa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.

  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge.)

Compensation Details:

$101573.67 - $157957.21

The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities education experience skills internal equity market data applicable collective bargaining agreements and relevant laws.
