The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for Bilingual Instructional Aides. Under general supervision the employee will assist tutor and educate preschool-age and school-age students individually or in groups in a classroom or similar learning situation following a prescribed curriculum. Selections Process:The selection process tentatively consists of the District application review pass the District instructional proficiency exam bilingual exam and interviews. The Human Resources Department will contact all applicants once the selection process has been DATES: Emails will be sent to all applicants and only qualified applicants will be given the exam and interview REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEAny combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school; successful completion of the District instructional aide examination or completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education or an associates degree or higher; possession of the knowledge and abilities listed above; 12 of core early childhood education classes REQUIREMENTSApplicants must successfully pass the bilingual proficiency examination administered by the LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATESMust possess a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit and be enrolled in an accredited institution leading to an associate degree or higher in early childhood education or related field. This requirement only applies to Head Start of a valid and appropriate California Drivers :*Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized following must be submitted with your online application for interview consideration:
- Copy of Transcript (Verifying 12 units of Child Development)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Letters recent within 2 years must be dated & signed)
