Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure windows using tape or lasers for accurate ordering of custom window treatments
- Safely install mounting brackets secure hardware and hang various window coverings (e.g. drapes traditional and motorized blinds shutters and awnings).
- Remove existing window coverings treat surrounding surfaces and prepare area for new installation
- Instruct clients on product maintenance operation and safety features (especially for motorized treatments)
- Maintain a clean work environment safely manage ladders and comply with all safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in carpentry construction or in-home installation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools (drills screwdrivers) and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds stand walk and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving strong verbal communication and a friendly courteous demeanor.
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Must pass background check and drug screen
