About the Job

As a Quality Inspector youll work at a designated inspection table processing repeat customer parts. Youll visually inspect painted parts for defects carefully remove masking materials and perform touch-up work when necessary to ensure the finished part meets customer requirements.

This is a hands-on detail-oriented production role where consistency and attention to detail are critical. Youll become familiar with the specific requirements of the customers and parts you work with and learn what to look for during each inspection.

What Youll Do

• Visually inspect painted parts for defects imperfections and areas requiring attention.
• Carefully remove masking materials such as tape plugs and liquid mask after processing.
• Identify common paint defects and other imperfections.
• Perform minor paint touch-ups as needed.
• Ensure touch-up work blends appropriately with the surrounding finish.
• Follow customer-specific work instructions and inspection requirements.
• Maintain consistent quality while processing repeat production parts.
• Recheck parts after touch-up to ensure the finished product meets requirements.
• Keep your inspection area clean organized and safe.
• Communicate questions or concerns to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

• Is comfortable performing detailed work with small parts and masking materials.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Is willing to learn paint touch-up techniques.

Regular Hours: MondayFriday 7:30 AM4:00 PM Summer Hours: MondayThursday 7:00 AM4:00 PM; Friday 6:30 AM12:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
