Innovation Engineer

The Innovation Engineer will serve as the WDPs technology scout and lead integrator responsible for identifying evaluating and infusing cutting-edge capabilities into the platform. This person will build and foster strategic relationships with industry partners academia and the open-source community to continuously analyze the latest advances in data analytic and AI technologies. They will be responsible for the hands-on technical work of preparing securing and integrating selected third-party tools and services into the WDP ecosystem. The Innovation Engineer will also act as a technical liaison assisting and guiding vendor engineers to ensure their products meet the WDPs rigorous technical and security standards. The primary objective of this role is to accelerate the delivery of best-in-class capabilities to the warfighter by ensuring the WDP remains at the forefront of technology.

• We are actively seeking multiple levels:
• Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience Bachelors Degree
• Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience Bachelors Degree
• Senior: 8 years of experience Bachelors Degree
• Good communication skills self-starter mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment:

• Salary at Avalore is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combinaition of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
