Injury Prevention Specialist

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic full-time Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting an industrial manufacturer in Topeka Emporia & Edgerton (KS). This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer (ATC) exercise physiologist EMT PTA COTA or individual of a similar background/training.

This dynamic role integrates ergonomics employee education and coaching preventive exercise programs early intervention strategies and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.

Position:Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: 1061 W 151st St. Olathe KS 66062 (Onsite in Topeka Emporia & Edgerton)

Type of Environment: Industrial/Manufacturing

Schedule: Full-time Weekdays (Hours vary) - **Starting at 32 hours between two plants increasing to 40 hours with a third plant sometime in the spring 2027.**

Compensation:$60000 - $70000 annually based on years of experience

What will you be doing in this role

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
• Engage with new hire employees on education ergonomics and injury prevention
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• Minimum one year of experience
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial setting
