Job Summary
Youll develop and maintain integrated project schedules plans and WBS structures and apply fundamental scheduling and cost control techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
Youll identify analyze and document schedule and cost variances between planned earned and actual performance and assess potential impacts to project milestones completion dates and overall project outcomes.
Youll perform schedule analytics to evaluate schedule quality critical and near-critical paths progress contractor performance trends and compliance with contractual scheduling requirements.
Youll work collaboratively in an integrated project environment consisting of client personnel engineering firms EPC contractors OEMs construction contractors and other project delivery partners.
Youll promote safe behavior and ensure adherence to all applicable safety requirements and project site rules.
Youll implement Accenture and client Project Management Standards across cost schedule scope Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) risk change and reporting to support consistent and predictable project delivery.
Youll support Stage Gate reviews by developing and analyzing cost schedule progress risk and project controls information needed to assess project readiness and performance.
Youll analyze contractor schedule and progress data to identify key project issues validate reported progress assess performance trends and support Project Administration and Accounting in the review of contractor invoices.
Youll assist in project and portfolio analysis optimization and reporting including assessments of cost schedule and risk associated with completing planned scopes of work in alignment with approved budgets and multi-year capital plans.
Youll develop project and portfolio performance metrics dashboards and reports that provide project leadership with timely visibility into project performance trends risks and emerging issues.
You may conduct training on client Stage Gate Processes project management standards and implementation guides and project controls disciplines such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
Minimum of 4 years of capital project scheduling experience on process industry projects such as power generation oil and gas refining chemicals or mining with project values of $500 million or greater.
High proficiency with Primavera P6 and demonstrated ability to develop maintain and analyze integrated project schedules.
Experience performing project controls analysis across schedule cost progress change risk and reporting disciplines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills a sense of urgency self-starter behaviors and a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Ability to communicate complex technical and project controls information clearly to project managers project leadership contractors and other stakeholders.
Ability to perform field walkdown observations/inspections on foot across moderate to rough terrain and the ability to lift 25 lbs. overhead.
Project scheduling experience working directly for a utility/owner EPC contractor engineering firm or Owners Engineer on major power generation projects.
Experience working with EPC contracts and projects executed under various contracting strategies including EPC and multi-prime delivery models and experience evaluating contractor schedules validating contractor progress analyzing schedule performance trends and supporting invoice review.
Experience with Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) project risk management change management cost management contract management and performance reporting.
Experience creating project and portfolio performance metrics using standardized dashboards and reports.
Demonstrable experience working at construction sites engineering offices fabrication facilities and other project delivery locations in support of major capital project teams.
Certifications from PMI and/or AACE International (AACEi).
