Information Technology Systems Engineer

Position SummaryThe Systems Engineer administers and supports enterprise application platforms and related systems. They also work with Infrastructure IT Security vendors and internal teams to keep applications reliable secure and well Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdminister maintain and support enterprise application platforms and related tools including but not limited to Colleague Papercut PowerFaids and configure upgrade and patch assigned application availability performance capacity and overall application server database authentication network and integration and patch servers supporting Enterprise Application Services applications ensuring platform security stability and compatibility with assigned enterprise systems hosted technical work with Infrastructure IT Security vendors and internal application implementations upgrades migrations integrations and recovery with security remediation audits backups and business continuity routine administrative and monitoring tasks when technical documentation procedures configurations and support technical risks dependencies and recommendationsPerform related duties as Skills Abilities & Other AttributesBachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent education and to eight years of experience administering upgrading and supporting enterprise supporting applications in Windows and Linux knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server logs queries and monitoring tools used for of application security identity and access management certificates service accounts backups and disaster coordinating technical work across Infrastructure IT Security vendors and business to automate routine tasks using PowerShell Bash Python or similar tools is with cloud-hosted SaaS or hybrid applications is troubleshooting communication documentation organization and customer-service skillsAbility to work independently manage competing priorities and respond to critical issues outside normal business hours when Working ConditionsThe Systems Engineer must be available to work some nights weekends or holidays when -Employment Requirements All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check.
