What Youll Do:
We are looking for an experienced Application Development Supervisor to lead development team in building and maintaining modern high-quality web applications.
In this hands-on leadership role you will supervise a team developers manage sprints using Azure DevOps and ensure the delivery of scalable secure and performant on-prem cloud-based and Low-Code applications. You will combine technical expertise with strong people leadership to drive team performance foster collaboration and deliver business value through agile practices. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead mentor and supervise a team developers (including senior mid-level and junior developers)
Oversee the full software development lifecycle for on-prem cloud-hosted and Low-Code applications
Manage agile sprints backlogs and ceremonies in Azure DevOps (Boards Repos Pipelines)
Ensure high-quality code delivery through code reviews automated testing CI/CD pipelines and adherence to best practices for on-prem cloud and Low-Code environments
Collaborate with product owners business analysts QA and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions for on-prem cloud-based and Low-Code applications
Oversee architecting and guiding the implementation of new features and enhancements
Monitor team velocity remove blockers and continuously improve development and deployment processes
Work with developers engaged in hands-on coding in support of critical deliverables or complex technical challenges
A solid knowledge and understanding of software development processes procedures user acceptance testing methods and tools is important. This includes but is not limited to Agile and Waterfall software processes version control methods Microsoft Office high level languages like SQL HTML HTML5 JSON MS Power Apps networking methods and API integration
Enforce coding standards security best practices and performance optimization
Conduct performance reviews career development planning and technical training for the team
Perform other duties and work on special projects
