The Sampson County Information Technology department is looking for a driven detail-oriented growth-minded IT professional to join its team as the next IT Systems Analyst. This role is responsible for analyzing planning implementing and supporting application systems across various County departments. The Analyst serves as the primary IT liaison and works under the general direction of the Information Technology Director.
What youll do:
Ensure vital technology needs are effectively supported across departments
Analyze configure install and maintain application systems and infrastructure
Perform system maintenance troubleshooting and upgrades following established standards
Lead and participate in IT projects including defining scope timelines and deliverables
Assess departmental technology needs and identify opportunities to enhance solutions
Assist in providing continuous technical support by participating in a rotating on-call schedule
What were looking for:
Dedicated professional with considerable knowledge of computer hardware software networking and enterprise applications
Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Strong communication interpersonal analytical and organizational skills
Ability to provide high-quality customer service in accordance with IT standards
Ability to develop and deliver training and technical documentation
Preferred applicants will have a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field with five years of progressive experience in application support. A combination of education and experience will be considered. A valid drivers license in the State of North Carolina is required.
