The Information Technology Customer Service Representative provides front-line customer and technical support during the Universitys deployment of Apple devices. This position provides excellent customer service to students alumni parents faculty and staff. Also providing basic troubleshooting and refers more complex issues to Information Technology staff.

• Provides professional customer service and responds to Apple device questions.
• Assists with Apple device deployment and distribution.
• Provides basic troubleshooting for hardware software setup and connectivity issues.
• Documents support requests and actions taken.
• Escalates complex or unresolved issues to Information Technology staff.
• Protects confidential University employee and student information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Associates degree in information technology computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Familiarity with Apple devices and operating systems.
• Strong communication problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to follow procedures manage multiple requests and escalate issues appropriately.

• Experience with Jamf or another mobile device management system.
• Apple certification or technical support training.
• Previous help desk device deployment or technical support experience.

This is a temporary two-week assignment. Employment will end when the assignment concludes. The position is not eligible for health insurance retirement paid leave paid holidays or other employee benefits except as required by law or applicable University System of Georgia policy.
