Job Summary
Carter Psychology Center is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Information Processing Clerk to join our clinical support this position you will be responsible for accurately entering organizing and managing sensitive patient documentation psychological assessment data and clinical records within our digital management system. The ideal candidate maintains high standards of data accuracy thrives in a remote work environment and strictly adheres to patient privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Data Entry & Management: Input patient intake details assessment forms treatment records and diagnostic billing codes into the clinics electronic health record (EHR) database.
- Document Processing & Audit: Review digital records clinical transcriptions and psychological evaluation files to ensure completeness proper formatting and compliance with institutional standards.
- Administrative Coordination: Support clinical staff by processing digital referrals updating appointment records and organizing patient documentation via secure remote administrative channels.
- Data Security & HIPAA Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling all electronic protected health information (ePHI) from a secure home office setting.
- Quality Assurance: Identify flag and correct data discrepancies or missing file information in coordination with the office administrative manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelors degree in Health Information Management Business Administration or related fields preferred.
- Experience: 13 years of experience in medical data entry health information management or clinical office administration.
- Technical Skills:
- High proficiency in data entry with exceptional speed and accuracy (10-key numeric proficiency).
- Strong working knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a secure private home workspace suited for remote clinical data processing.

Compensation & Work Structure
- Schedule: Flexible Monday Friday daytime hours.

- Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with medical data processing experience ($27.00 $30.00/hour).
