Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
- Create and maintain mappings workflows sessions and transformations
- Develop data integration solutions to extract transform and load data from multiple sources
- Perform data analysis validation and troubleshooting of ETL processes
- Optimize ETL performance and implement tuning strategies
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for job automation scheduling and monitoring
- Work with SQL queries stored procedures and database objects for data processing
- Support production deployments issue resolution and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Ensure data quality integrity and compliance with standards
- Participate in SDLC phases: requirements design development testing and deployment
Required Technical Skills
- Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud (IICS)
- Strong knowledge of ETL development and data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle SQL Server DB2 etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
- Experience in data modeling and database design
- Knowledge of workflow scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M Autosys)
- Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Experience working with multiple data sources (XML flat files RDBMS)
Preferred/Additional Skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with version control and release management
