Shift Timings: Mon-Thurs 6am - 4:30pm

Summary of Job:
Seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Workers to support operations within a manufacturing or pilot production environment. This role is responsible for performing a variety of production assembly material handling inspection and equipment support tasks in accordance with established work instructions safety requirements and quality standards.
Must-have/Required skills:
- HS diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years experience in manufacturing production assembly warehouse or other industrial environments
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of typical hand tools used to adjust/modify equipment on the line
- Ability to use suction cups to move large pieces of flat glass
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to inspect incoming glass and completed IGUs for defects
- Ability to operate lift assist equipment to pick up IGUs off the end of the production line and place onto stationary A-Frame or carts
- Ability to work closely with Operations Supervisors and Engineering to detect glass defects and/or equipment and process challenges
Nice-to-have skills:
- Technology AAS degree is desired
- Experience working with Hegla Galatic fully automated glass cutting equipment
- Experience building crates and staging completed parts for freight pick up
- Experience in material handling and sequencing production materials
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Oversee Hegla Galatic fully automated glass cutting equipment to cut glass lites to sizes for production in IGUs and windows.
- Complete manual glass separation of discrete glass sheets from mother sheet.
- Load glass carts and stage for sequencing in production.
- Inspect incoming glass and completed IGUs for defects.
- Operate lift assist equipment to pick up IGUs (50 lbs) off the end of the production line and place onto stationary A-Frame or carts.
- Work closely with Operations Supervisors and Engineering to detect glass defects and/or equipment and process challenges.
- Build crates to store IGUs in for shipping and stage completed parts for freight pick up.
