Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM Alternative Work Schedule
Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from entry-level rates up to $40/hour based on experience skills and qualifications.
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of high-speed manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting repairs and equipment installations on mechanical systems processing equipment packaging machinery robotics and automated production systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled safety-focused and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where minimizing downtime is critical.
- Perform preventive predictive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair fillers conveyors packaging equipment case erectors pumps valves and other mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical equipment issues.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment including vibration analysis and laser alignment tools.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders using a CMMS system.
- Support equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings blueprints and technical documentation.
- Maintain compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all safety standards.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman Card or 4 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience (military mechanical experience considered).
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps valves hydraulics pneumatics conveyors and industrial production equipment.
- Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings prints and schematics.
- Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime weekends holidays and participate in on-call support as needed.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
