Our client a manufacturing company specializing in precision-engineered products is seeking a Industrial Engineer Manufacturing to drive process optimization improve product quality reduce waste and increase operational efficiency. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement Lean manufacturing practices identify improvement opportunities and deliver measurable results across production operations.
BSIE BSME OR OTHER ENGINEERING DEGREE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 23 years of experience in continuous improvement manufacturing process engineering or quality engineering; 57 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma root-cause analysis and process optimization.
- Experience with quality management systems data analysis and performance improvement tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI and ERP/MES systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical project management communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must meet ITAR requirements and authorized to work in the U.S.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce scrap rework defects and operating costs while improving productivity and product quality.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve recurring manufacturing and quality issues.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies including Kaizen 5S value-stream mapping and standard work.
- Collaborate with Operations Quality Engineering and Maintenance to optimize workflows production processes and equipment utilization.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure improvement results and ensure sustainable outcomes.
- Document improved processes establish standard procedures and train employees on continuous improvement practices.
- Support new product introductions process changes and initiatives to improve safety efficiency and overall operational performance.
