North Coast Container is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team in Charlotte NC. This position is responsible for troubleshooting repairing maintaining and improving electrical systems and production equipment throughout our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will also possess basic to intermediate mechanical maintenance skills to assist with equipment repairs preventative maintenance and production support.

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
• Diagnose and repair motors drives sensors relays contactors PLCs and control circuits.
• Install test and maintain electrical equipment and machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot automation and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.

• Assist with repair and maintenance of conveyors pumps gearboxes bearings hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems.
• Perform equipment alignments belt replacements lubrication and mechanical adjustments.
• Participate in machine changeovers and production equipment setup.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to equipment failures.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all safety procedures lockout/tagout requirements and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with production engineering and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of industrial electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Basic mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Technical degree or certification in Electrical Technology Mechatronics Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Experience in metal manufacturing packaging container production or similar industrial environments.
• Knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics and welding.
• Ability to operate forklifts scissor lifts and other maintenance equipment.

• Ability to stand walk bend kneel and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures noise levels and production demands.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
