Job Summary
Columbus Brick a division of General Shale Brick is seeking and Industrial Electrical Technician for our manufacturing facility in Columbus MS. This position is hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include:
- Working with predominantly Siemens equipment including S7 & TIA Portal
- Maintaining/troubleshooting plant electrical systems and automated equipment
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance
- Modifying/updating software and equipment as needed
Applicants should possess and demonstrate a working knowledge of:
- Motor Control Circuits
- Variable Frequency Drives
- HMIs
- Programmable Logic Controllers predominantly Siemens S7 & TIA Portal
- Allen Bradley Automation
- An Associates Degree in electrical or related field with experience in an industrial electrical environment
- 5 years experience preferred
- Must be willing to work after hours and on an on-call rotation
