Industrial Design Intern

The Industrial Design Co-Op studentparticipatesin projects to support graphic and industrial design needs of project teams throughout the Generac organization working on product developmentinnovationand marketing. Design outputs could include computer or hand drawn renderingsillustrationsphysical prototypes 3-Dmodelsand other forms of samples. This professional will gain valuable experience producinghigh qualitydeliverables under project timelines and budgets with multiple projects.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
* Assist in all phases of product development translating innovation to concepts and working with project teams to bring concepts to production.
* Assist in the creation and implementation of VBLdocumentation.

Minimal Qualifications:
* Current enrollment in a degree-seekingBachelorslevel program in Industrial Design or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
* Exposure to SolidWorks CREO or equivalent CAD software Adobe CreativeSuiteand Procreate to develop various concepts that clearly and effectively communicate design intent.
* Excellent skills in communication and creativity. Problem solving skills are important as work is bothteambased and individual depending on the specific project.
* Must work a minimum of 35 hours per week for the full term.
