Are you a compassionate dependable caregiver who enjoys helping others and making a meaningful difference Cornerstone Caregiving is looking for dedicated Overnight In-Home Caregivers to join our growing team!
Our caregivers provide non-medical in-home support that helps seniors and individuals remain safe comfortable and independent in the place they call home.
What Youll Do
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Provide personal care assistance as needed
Assist with toileting and continence care
Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
Assist with mobility and transfers as permitted by the care plan
Prepare light meals and snacks
Perform light housekeeping and tidying
Provide safety supervision and overnight support
Assist with repositioning and comfort throughout the night
Communicate important changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Follow each clients individualized care plan
Overnight Responsibilities
Overnight caregivers play an important role in helping our clients feel safe and supported throughout the night. Depending on the clients needs overnight shifts may include sleeping or awake care regular safety checks personal care repositioning toileting assistance and responding to client needs.
What Were Looking For
Compassionate and dependable individuals
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently in a clients home
Strong communication skills
Respectful and patient attitude
Previous caregiving PCA CNA HHA or home care experience is preferred but not always required
Must be able to pass required background screening
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment
