In-Home Care Worker (Part-Time)
We are seeking a reliable compassionate and engaging in-home care worker to provide part-time assistance in a private home setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful conversation values a clean and organized environment and is attentive to safety and well-being.
Location: Onalaska WI
Compensation: $16.32/hour
Schedule: Flexible daytime hours - Mon Wed Fri
Up to 10Hr/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping tasks (light cleaning tidying organizing)
- Laundry care including washing folding and putting away clothing
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Assist with putting groceries away after delivery
- Lay out clothing as needed
- Help organize household items and spaces
- Prepare simple meals and assist with meal prep
- Provide assistance in the event of a fall or mobility issue
- Light physical personal assistance may be required in case of emergencies (e.g. a fall while entering the shower) - NO PERSONAL CARES OTHERWISE
Ideal Candidate
- Dog lover
- Friendly engaging and intellectually curious
- Comfortable discussing current events
- Interest in science and history is a plus
- Dependable organized and attentive to detail
- Able to provide calm and supportive assistance if needed
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills kindness and dependability.
- Must pass caregiver and criminal background checks.
