The Coachella Valley Lakersare seekinga fun outgoing and enthusiastic in-game host to create an excitingexperiencefor the 24 home games of the2026-2027 season running from November 2026 through March 2027including playoffs. This positionprovidesa great opportunityto interact with our fans whileexecuting a balance of hype and knowledgewithin theoperations of a professional basketball team. Thehostwillassistwith in-game promotions contests on-court performances and other activities during each Laker home game.Applications must include a resume with references and a performance reel no longer than three (3) minutes inlength. This role will pay an hourly rate of $35.00 - $40.00.

The Coachella Valley Lakers are the newest addition to the rapidly growing sports and entertainment landscape in the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as the South Bay Lakers the team serves as the official NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers one of the most iconic and successful franchises in global sports. Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders the organization has built a strong reputation for developing elite talent supporting the NBA pipeline and delivering a high level of competition within the G League.

Backed by the championship legacy and global brand of the Los Angeles Lakers the Coachella Valley Lakers embody a culture rooted in excellence innovation and player development. This legacy combined with Oak View Groups success in launching Acrisure Arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds in 2022 created a powerful foundation for continued growth. This foundation positions the Coachella Valley Lakers to build on an established track record while supporting the development of future NBA talent.

The transition to the Coachella Valley marks an exciting new chapter for the franchise aligning with the regions emergence as a premier destination for sports and live entertainment. Since the opening of Acrisure Arena in 2022 the desert has experienced significant momentum highlighted by the success of the Coachella Valley Firebirds and a growing calendar of world-class events. This expansion reflects a broader vision to establish the Valley as a dynamic hub for professional sports community engagement and unforgettable fan experiences.

The Coachella Valley Lakers will be managed by OVG in a similar fashion to the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The team will play a vital role in connecting with local fans supporting regional development and enhancing the overall sports scene in the desert. Fueled by Coachella Valleys energy talent and love for sports the Coachella Valley Lakers are perfectly positioned to amplify the next chapter of professional sports and the continued pursuit of entertainment in the region.

• During games the host will execute allcourtand in-stands promotionsboth sponsored and unsponsoredbased on the individual game script and rundown.
• Attend all meetings related to the game presentation.
• Communicate in-game & event information to the Game Director.
• Assistwith operational support and/or talent roles across various production mediums including websocial media etc. as directed by Management.
• Interact and engage with fans throughout the game to increase the hype and excitementad-libbingand improvising area must.
• Present themselves in a professional manner while in public. This includes all social media networks.
• Refrain from putting themselves or the Coachella ValleyLakersin any negative light whileconducting any interviews or social media posts.

• Hosting experience in the Sports/Game Presentation/Entertainment industry is preferred.
• 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Able todemonstratea strong on-camera presence highlighting poise professionalism likeabilityapproachability and ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
• Must have strong knowledge ofBasketball.
• Great communicationand listening skills.
• Creative and innovative personality with the ability to quickly adapt and adjust to in-game situations as theychange.
• Flexible schedule to allow commitment to all Lakers home games necessary during the 2026-2027 season including weekends evenings and holidays to meet game and/or event needs.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback into performance.
• Additionalduties and expectations may be added or adjusted as needed to meet league and organizationalneeds.
