DHH Illinois Teacher
Do you have experience supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Our Organization is connecting qualified educators with an Illinois school district seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the remainder of the academic year.
This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction while helping students access classroom content develop communication skills and participate more confidently in their educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and document student progress while supporting the implementation of IEP goals and objectives. Provide individualized instruction and adapt instructional materials and classroom strategies to address student needs. Promote academic and communication development within an accessible inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers families and school support teams to provide consistent and effective student support.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Appropriate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement.
- Commitment to accessible instruction and student-centered support.
- Ability to work effectively with students educators and school support teams.
