Are you a skilled imaging professionalor a recent graduate ready to launch your career in medical imaging Join our team as a CT/X-Ray Technologist and play a vital role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients through advanced imaging technology.

As a CT/X-Ray Technologist youll combine technical expertise with compassionate patient care to deliver high-quality diagnostic images that directly impact patient outcomes. Working alongside radiologists and healthcare professionals youll utilize state-of-the-art imaging equipment while helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their experience.

What youll do:

  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.
  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions to create a positive experience.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards.
  • Apply the principles of radiation protection and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) in all imaging procedures.
  • Review images for quality accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking while performing imaging procedures.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Education & Credentials-

  • ARRT Certification required.
  • CT Registry preferred.
  • Illinois State IEMA Certification required.

Experience-

  • New graduates accepted and encouraged to apply.
  • Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred but not required.

License & Certifications-

  • Current ARRT Certification required.
  • Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $27.50 - $44.25
