Hybrid Special Education Resource Specialist Teacher

Method Summit Academy operates under Method Schools Corporation on the Dehesa Elementary School campus. Method Summit Academy is part of Dehesa Method Sports Academy a joint program run collaboratively by Method Schools and Dehesa Elementary School District. The Special Education Teacher serves a key role in monitoring and supporting special education students. This role oversees a caseload of Special Education students provides Specialized Academic Instruction in accordance with individualized education plans and uses a variety of student performance data to align with those plans and ensure academic growth and overall success. This teacher will work on campus with students enrolled at Method Summit Academy as well as with students enrolled in rigorous online courses through Method Schools that require consistent instructional support. The Special Education Teacher works closely with instructional staff and the Special Education department to ensure the students progress and overall success. The Special Education teacher reports to the Special Education Director.*As a hybrid position applicants must be able to work part of the week onsite at MSA campus
