Our client a growing manufacturer with multiple facilities across the US is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join its corporate finance team in Des Plaines IL. HYBRID Corporate Accounting Manager Responsibilities

Mentor and lead an Accounting Team; 2 direct reports; 1 indirect
Lead the monthly close process while ensuring timely and accurate GAAP-compliant reporting
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial analysis supporting productivity profitability and business decisions
Oversee inventory accounting standard costing and cost analysis across multiple manufacturing locations
Track audit and report capital expenditures
Develop and improve accounting controls policies and financial processes
Serve as the primary liaison for annual external audits
Support ERP implementation and financial systems optimization initiatives
Provide financial support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects

HYBRID Corporate Accounting Manager Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required
5 years of progressive accounting experience required
Manufacturing accounting industry experience required
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month end close required
ERP system experience required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs) required
