HVACRefrigeration Technician

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $43/hr.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Elko Nevada. The HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems in residential commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills a commitment to safety and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

• Install maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical electrical and control system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections and services.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration systems including compressors condensers evaporators and controls.
• Inspect and test system components to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
• Ensure all work complies with local state and federal regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records work orders and inventory documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance repairs and maintenance recommendations.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain tools equipment and company vehicles in good working condition.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or technical training in HVAC/Refrigeration preferred.
• Previous experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification required or ability to obtain.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Frequent standing bending kneeling and reaching.
