Job Summary
HVAC Technician
Location: Warren OH
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday Friday
Compensation: $35$40/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician II to perform preventive corrective and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This role involves troubleshooting servicing and optimizing HVAC equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems including ACUs AHUs VAVs heat pumps and DDC controls
- Monitor system performance and conduct operational testing analysis and equipment rounds
- Maintain chillers boilers ventilation systems and related HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical manuals to support maintenance tasks
- Diagnose root causes of HVAC system issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate logs including maintenance records refrigerant logs filter inventories and system readings
- Operate HVAC tools and equipment including refrigerant recovery systems vacuum pumps and charging equipment
- Support CMMS work order completion and preventive maintenance optimization
- Maintain clean safe work areas and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license required
- EPA Universal Refrigeration License required
- 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems controls and troubleshooting practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Valid drivers license required
