Location: Cincinnati OH (Travel Required) Pay: $3239/hr Shift: 1st Shift MondayFriday (Off-shift and up to 50% travel required)
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to support commercial and industrial facilities across multiple locations. This role offers hands-on high-impact work with HVAC systems in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Ideal candidates are experienced technicians who can troubleshoot complex systems work independently and are open to regional travel assignments lasting several weeks at a time.
What Youll Do
Perform preventative corrective and general maintenance on HVAC systems across multiple facilities
Maintain install troubleshoot and repair AHUs RTUs chillers boilers cooling towers mini splits ice machines and refrigeration systems
Monitor and adjust system performance including chilled water condenser water and hot water loops
Diagnose system issues perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Conduct routine inspections system rounds and performance testing
Maintain accurate logs reports CMMS work orders and maintenance documentation
Perform preventative maintenance on critical building systems with minimal disruption to operations
Support chemical water treatment programs for HVAC and boiler systems
Assist with electrical control wiring motor controls conduit work and system troubleshooting as needed
Perform additional maintenance tasks including minor plumbing carpentry drywall and general facility repairs
Ensure compliance with all safety standards including OSHA regulations and proper handling of refrigerants and hazardous materials
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of formal HVAC training program required (certification documentation required)
Minimum 6 years of HVAC maintenance experience in commercial or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers boilers refrigeration and building controls
Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical system components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and maintenance procedures
Valid drivers license and applicable certifications/licenses required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Strong communication documentation and customer service skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time including extended assignments
