We are seeking an experienced HVAC Performance Engineer to support the development validation and optimization of automotive climate control systems. The engineer will be responsible for evaluating HVAC system performance thermal comfort airflow distribution and vehicle cabin climate functionality to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate HVAC system performance for automotive applications.
Conduct thermal comfort and climate control evaluations in vehicle environments.
Analyze airflow cooling heating defrost and defog performance.
Support HVAC calibration and tuning activities for optimal cabin comfort.
Perform vehicle-level testing in climatic wind tunnels and environmental chambers.
Investigate and resolve HVAC-related issues during vehicle development and production phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including thermal systems calibration validation CAE and vehicle integration teams.
Review and interpret test data generate reports and provide engineering recommendations.
Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Ensure compliance with automotive standards performance targets and customer requirements.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or related field.
Experience in automotive HVAC systems thermal management or climate control engineering.
Knowledge of vehicle thermal systems refrigerant cycles airflow management and cabin comfort principles.
Experience with HVAC testing data acquisition and validation activities.
Familiarity with automotive development processes and validation procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills:

Required Education:
