What Youll Do

As our HVAC Service Manager youll be responsible for the performance development and success of our HVAC service team. Youll:

• Lead manage and hold the HVAC service team accountable
• Conduct weekly 1:1s technician ride-alongs and coaching sessions
• Develop technicians in technical ability customer service communication and performance
• Track team performance KPIs and department goals
• Provide technical support and help technicians work through challenging calls
• Partner closely with dispatch to ensure were getting the right technician to the right call
• Identify underperformance and create clear plans for improvement
• Help create a culture where expectations are clear and great performance is recognized
• Keep the GM updated on department performance budget projections and KPIs
• Be available to support the team when an employee is on call and an issue needs to be escalated

What Were Looking For

• 2 years of management or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC
• Previous hands-on field experience in the home-service industry
• A leader who is comfortable getting in the truck and into the field with technicians
• Proven ability to coach develop and hold employees accountable
• Strong customer-service and problem-resolution skills
• Ability to understand and manage performance metrics and KPIs
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
