The HR Specialist -Recruiter will support and improve all aspects of the human resources function including recruitment employee relations performance management benefits administration and HR compliance. This role is key in ensuring a positive employee experience and fostering an engaging inclusive work environment. The HR Specialist will collaborate with management and staff to develop HR solutions that align with organizational goals.
Under the supervision of the Executive Director for Human Resources the recruiters primary job functions include:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment and hiring process including creating and updating job requisitions posting vacancies sourcing and prescreening candidates coordinating and scheduling interviews facilitating candidate communications presenting employment offers documenting offer acceptance dispositioning candidates completing pre-employment requirements and coordinating the hiring process through new employee orientation.
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues ensuring accurate and timely communication of updates changes and available resources.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state labor laws regulations TCSG policies and workplace safety standards.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries concerns and grievances ensuring timely professional and fair resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives and addressing team dynamics.
- Assist managers in setting performance goals conducting performance reviews and creating employee development plans.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate confidential and up-to-date employee records including personnel files recruitment records and HRIS data.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making monitor workforce trends and track HR metrics.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws regulations TCSG policies and HR best practices to ensure organizational policies and practices remain compliant.
- Support HR initiatives projects process improvements training and other departmental priorities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
