Job Summary
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager manages all aspects of human resources functions including onboarding orientation compensation health and wellness benefits training and development records management employee relations leave of absence management and legal compliance. As a leader of our culture the Human Resources Manager will ensure a seamless employee experience providing excellent service to all employees. Additionally this role requires the use of confidentiality and integrity with regards to all employee interactions and matters. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
This position is required to work in person at Aspen Highlands Human Resources office.
The salary range for this position is $66950 - $82400. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
   Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies procedures and reporting are in compliance
  Onboards employees to fill vacant positions
   Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
   Keeps records and completes data entry of benefits plans participation such as insurance and retirement plan personnel transactions such as hires promotions transfers performance reviews and terminations and employee statistics for internal government reporting
   Coordinates management training in interviewing hiring terminations promotions performance review safety sexual harassment and others as needed
   Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
   Responds to inquiries regarding policies procedures and programs
   Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness compliance and equity within organization
   Assists with the salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization
   Administers benefits programs such as life health dental and disability insurances retirement plans vacation sick leave leave of absence and employee assistance
   Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
   Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
   Guide employees and managers through the leave of absence process including FMLA ADA accommodations and company-sponsored leave policies
   Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education & Experience Requirements
   BA/BS degree in a relevant field of study such as Human Resources or Business Management required
   Minimum 3 years previous work experience in a manager level Human Resources role required
   PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferredÂ
 Knowledge Skills & Abilities
   Strong leadership skills communication skills negotiating skills professional integrity and sound business judgmentÂ
   Strong attention to detail analytical skills and the ability to analyze dataÂ
   HRIS experience Timekeeping Software Experience (Kronos preferred) Talent Management Software experience (Smart Recruiters preferred) and Workers Compensation Claims Processing Software and RTP experience highly desiredÂ
   Knowledge of: Talent Acquisition / Talent Development / Talent Management processes in the following areas:  Recruiting Leadership Competencies Talent Assessments Succession Management Performance Management Workforce Analytics Safety and Risk Management processes and analytics
   Knowledge of current trends and Human Resources Management practicesÂ
   Understanding and application of pertinent federal state local laws codes and regulations including but not limited to FMLA ADA ADEA EEO
   Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
   Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesÂ
   Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentÂ
   Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes customer flow environments and tasksÂ
   Proficient knowledge of industry regulations and how they affect business operations Â
   Skills in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Additional Information :
Work Environment & Physical Demands
   Ability to stand type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
   No adverse or hazardous conditions
   Not required but preferred to be able to occasionally lift push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
