Job Summary

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the Taylor Oswald team and is responsible for executing HR initiatives that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience. This role serves as a trusted partner to leaders and employees providing guidance across employee relations performance management benefits administration talent development onboarding compliance and HR systems.

The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen exceptional relationship-building skills and hands-on experience with Workday HRIS employee relations and benefits administration. This individual will take a consultative approach to solving organizational challenges while helping drive a culture of engagement accountability inclusion and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Performance Management

Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on employee relations matters workplace concerns policy interpretation and HR best practices.

Assist leaders in addressing performance concerns through coaching documentation corrective action and performance improvement plans.

Counsel managers on the development presentation and follow-through of corrective action plans.

Coach managers and employees on the consistent application of company policies procedures and business practices.

Talent Management Development & Engagement

Execute HR initiatives that support business objectives with a focus on employee engagement development and training talent acquisition retention and performance management.

Design implement administer and maintain annual performance management processes.

Partner with Taylor Oswald business leaders to support onboarding leadership development succession planning and talent strategies.

Assist management teams in identifying employee development opportunities and facilitating activities that build organizational capability and career growth.

Support employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive inclusive workplace culture.

Champion diversity equity and inclusion efforts that strengthen organizational culture and business performance.

Benefit Administration & Employee Support

Serve as a resource to employees regarding company benefits programs including health welfare retirement and wellness offerings.

Assist employees with understanding benefit options answer routine questions and direct employees to appropriate resources when needed.

Support open enrollment activities employee benefit communications and vendor coordination.

Maintain a general understanding of benefits administration payroll processes and other core HR functions.

HRIS Data Analytics & Reporting

Maintain accurate employee records and organizational data within Workday.

Support HR transactions including hires transfers promotions compensation changes and terminations.

Ensure data integrity through system audits reporting validation and process improvement initiatives.

Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends provide insights and develop actionable recommendations.

Prepare and present workforce data and HR insights to leadership teams in a compelling manner that supports business decision-making.

Compliance & HR Operations

Use for roles involved in scaling transformation or complex initiatives.

Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.

Support policy development communication and implementation efforts.

Assist with HR audits reporting requirements record retention and compliance initiatives.

Support day-to-day HR operations while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality professionalism and employee service.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

Experience managing employee relations issues and performance management processes.

Experience administering employee benefits programs.

Experience with Workday HRIS.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Experience analyzing workforce data and presenting recommendations to management.

Excellent communication coaching conflict resolution and relationship management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $72000 to $79000 annually. Individual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience skills education and internal equity.
