Job Overview:LCG is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist with a strong focus on benefits administration in-house leave management HR operations and data accuracy.

This is an individual-contributor role responsible for managing critical HR programs across the employee lifecycle including benefits leaves of absence onboarding employee changes compliance reporting employee engagement and HRIS administration.

The ideal candidate is highly organized customer-focused and technically capable. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in ADP Workforce Now or a similar HRIS/payroll platform building formula-driven Excel reconciliations reviewing payroll and benefits data identifying exceptions and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

The successful candidate will also be comfortable using AI tools such as Claude ChatGPT or similar platforms as practical working tools to support audit logic formula troubleshooting data reconciliation reporting documentation and process improvement.

This position requires strong working knowledge of benefits and leave regulations including FMLA ADA HIPAA COBRA Section 125 qualifying life events and applicable federal and state employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits Administration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions involving medical dental vision retirement voluntary benefits and other company-sponsored programs.
  • Administer benefit enrollments qualifying life events status changes terminations COBRA and employee support.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers brokers third-party administrators and benefit vendors to resolve issues and support plan administration.
  • Lead annual open enrollment planning and execution including timelines employee communications education sessions system setup and benefit elections.
  • Maintain accurate benefit data within the HRIS and benefit administration platforms.
  • Monitor eligibility files EDI integrations enrollment feeds and system errors.
  • Reconcile carrier invoices payroll deductions and enrollment files at the employee-record level.
  • Investigate benefit and payroll variances using formula-driven Excel analysis and exception reporting.
  • Analyze benefit utilization enrollment trends and related HR data to identify process improvements and support recommendations.
  • Support annual benefit renewals and provide data and analysis to HR leadership.

401(k) Administration and Audit Support

  • Prepare and validate employee census data for annual 401(k) plan audits and nondiscrimination testing.
  • Calculate and reconcile employee contributions employer matching contributions eligibility dates and plan participation data.
  • Support ADP/ACP top-heavy eligibility and related compliance testing.
  • Reconcile payroll HRIS and recordkeeper files and resolve discrepancies before final submission.
  • Maintain organized audit documentation and support the broader audit process through completion.
  • Partner with payroll Finance recordkeepers and external auditors as needed.

Leave of Absence Administration

  • Administer company leave programs in-house including:
    • FMLA
    • ADA accommodations
    • Parental leave
    • Military leave
    • Jury duty
    • State-specific leave programs
    • Other applicable federal state and company leave programs
  • Manage the full leave lifecycle from the initial request through return to work.
  • Provide required notices documentation employee communications and compliance tracking.

  • Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave status responsibilities and next steps.
  • Maintain confidential leave and medical records in compliance with HIPAA and privacy requirements.

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

  • At least 47 years of Human Resources experience with significant responsibility for benefits and leave administration.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions in an HR Generalist capacity.
