Job Summary
- Support all aspects of human resources administration to include but not limited to benefits compensation compliance employee relations leave management organizational development workforce planning and other general areas of human resources.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring processes including applicant screening onboarding pre- and post-offer requirements and new hire orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS including new hires terminations job changes compensation updates and personal information changes.
- Provide assistance and information to employees regarding company-sponsored benefit programs and process qualifying life event changes enrollments and eligibility verification.
- Assist managers and employees with policy interpretation workplace concerns and HR-related inquiries.
- Coordinate all aspects of employee leaves of absence including requests tracking and reporting.
- Support employee relations activities investigations corrective actions and conflict resolution efforts in collaboration with HR leadership.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate HR documentation and records.
- Participate in employee engagement retention training and organizational development initiatives.
- Assist with the termination process including completion of required documentation in accordance with personnel policies and procedures and communication of information to separating employees regarding health insurance continuation final pay and other required processes. Represent the company at unemployment hearings as needed.
- Assist with legal requests audits and other compliance-related activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal state and local employment regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Domestic U.S travel may be required.
Bachelors degree in human resources business administration or a related field is required. Three (3) years of progressive human resources experience is required to include experience in human resources employee relations recruiting benefits administration employment laws or HR operations. Additional experience maybesubstitutedfor the required education on a year-for-year basis. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion is required. Must demonstrate strong communication organization problem-solving and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsor other similar software applicationsis withan HRIS ispreferred.A valid drivers license is required.
