Overview

Position Summary

As a Human Resources Generalist you will support day-to-day HR operations with a focus onbenefitsadministration employee relations and compliance.Youllwork closely with employees managers and HR leadership to resolve issuesmaintainaccuraterecords and ensureconsistent positive employee experience across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate employee relations matters including intake documentation follow-up and partnering with the HR Manager on case resolution
  • Administer employee benefits including enrollments qualifying events and troubleshooting questions with carriers
  • Guide employees and managers through the leave of absence process (FMLA personal leave workers compcoordination with Safety etc.)
  • Assistwith new hire onboarding and ensuretimelycompletion of I-9s background checks and required documentation
  • Maintain HRIS accuracy employee files and audit-ready records
  • Provide policy interpretation and general HR guidance to employees and frontline leaders
  • Support performance management cycles by tracking deadlines organizing documentation andassistingmanagers
  • Prepare HR metrics andassistwith reporting for leadership
  • Partner with Recruiting Payroll and Safety teams to support the full employee lifecycle
  • Participate in and help coordinate investigations by collecting facts scheduling interviews andmaintainingcase files
  • Assistwith training initiatives and HR projects throughout the year

Qualifications

  • 13 years of HR experience with direct hands-on work in benefits administration and employee relations
  • Working knowledge of employment law HR compliance leaves of absence and general HR policies
  • Strong communication relationship-building and problem-solving skills
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to stay organized manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and comfort workinginHRIS platforms

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
  • HR certification (PHR SHRM-CP or similar)
  • Experience supporting HR in construction engineering manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with HRIS Platforms

Work Environment & Physical Demands (Text Only)
Physical requirements and work environment expectations vary by position. Generally roles at Prime Controls may involve moderate noise occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and depending on the role work at heights or around airborne particles and electrical components.
