Another Source is partnering with Housing Choices to recruit a Human Resources Director to join the organization at an exciting point of growth. Over the past 13 years Housing Choices has grown from approximately 20 employees to 114 creating the need for its first Human Resources Director. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the leadership team this new role offers the opportunity to build upon the organizations existing HR foundation while providing the strategic leadership needed for its next stage of growth. The Human Resources Director will supervise the HR Generalist and lead initiatives across compensation benefits compliance employee relations performance management workforce planning leadership development HR technology and organizational development. Early priorities will include strengthening HR policies and the employee handbook reviewing compensation and benefits practices improving organizational efficiencies and HR systems and creating greater consistency around workplace policies and practices. Housing Choices offers a highly mission-driven environment focused on expanding housing opportunities and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization values inclusion collaboration respect accessibility and person-centered service and this leader will have the opportunity to directly influence the employee experience and workplace culture that supports that mission. The position offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote and may be based in San Jose Salinas Watsonville or Palo Alto with San Jose preferred. Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
