Job Description Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and trusted advisor to leaders and employees supporting designated business units through effective people strategies strong employee relations guidance and operational excellence. Operating within an HR Shared Services model this role partners closely with managers and key HR functions to deliver consistent scalable and highquality support across the employee lifecycle.This role is based full-time in our office in San Diego CA. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct regular meetings with assigned business units to understand priorities workforce needs and employee experience trends; share insights with People Operations partners.
Consult with leaders by providingtimely practical HR guidance aligned with business goals and company values partnering with Shared Services teams for operational execution.
Analyze HR trends and workforce data with People Operations and HRIS to recommenddata informedsolutions programs and policy enhancements.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues serving as the primary investigator for sensitive matters and partnering with Legal and People OperationsManagers.
Maintaina strong workingknowledge of federal state and local employment laws; collaborate with Legal and HR Shared Services teams to ensure consistent compliance and mitigate risk.
Provideday-to-dayperformance management guidance to leaders including coaching counseling corrective action support and career development People Operations Manager.
Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to strengthen communication increase engagement and support retention within assigned business units.
Servean advisoron HR policy interpretation ensuring consistent application across the business and collaborating withPeople Operationspartners on updates and improvements.
Support leaderson employment actionsincluding new hires promotions and transfersin partnership with Talent Acquisition Compensation and People Operations to ensure internal equity and adherence toestablishedguidelines.
Assistwith organizational planning staffing strategies and succession planningensuring alignment with Shared Services processes.
Encouragetraining and development needs within business units; partner with Learning & Development to requestor support training solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal HR teamsincluding Talent Acquisition Total RewardsTalent DevelopmentHRIS Safety and People Operationsto drivea seamless consistent employee experience.
Identifyopportunities to improve People Operations processes systems and programs and communicate business needs to Shared Services partners.
Perform other related duties and specialprojects asassigned.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
Strongverbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear professional guidance to leaders employees and HR partners.
Effectiverelationship buildingskills with the ability to build trust and influence across all organizational levels.
Service-oriented approachwith strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with Shared Services and business leaders.
Solidorganizational skills andattention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in afast-pacedenvironment.
Working knowledge offederal state and local employment laws and internal policies.
Ability to understand organizational structure roles competencies and compensation practices.
Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskillswith sound judgment and asolutionsorientedapproach.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems; HRIS experience preferred.
Minimum5years of HR experience including exposure tocomplex employee relations issuesand supporting managersin afastpacedenvironment.
Broad knowledge across HR disciplines including compensation organizational effectiveness employee relations diversity and inclusion performance management and employment law.
Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or related field preferred.
SHRMCP SHRMSCP PHR or SPHR certification preferredorwillingnessto obtain within one year.
Experience supporting distributed orfield basedteamspreferred;renewable energy or construction industry experience a plus.
Experience working within an HR Shared Services model preferred.
