Human Resources Assistant Part-time

St. Andrews Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking a dependable organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources Department.

This position assists with new hire paperwork onboarding employee records pre-employment screenings certification tracking HR systems and other routine administrative tasks. Youll also communicate with applicants employees and supervisors and help keep important HR processes organized and on schedule.

Hours are generally Monday through Friday up to 29 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for a retiree who wants to stay active in the workforce a parent or caregiver looking for a professional part-time role or someone interested in gaining hands-on HR experience.

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organization communication and attention to detail
• Comfortable using email spreadsheets electronic files and office software
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Previous administrative clerical office customer service or HR experience preferred

Experience with onboarding employee records applicant tracking systems payroll systems or HR software is a plus. Coursework or education in Human Resources Business Administration Office Administration or a related field is preferred but not required.
