Minimum Qualifications

Three years of human resources experience; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelors degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Manages employee benefits transactions including health supplemental insurance and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) processing.

  • Reviews and processes FMLA and parental leave requests including eligibility determinations and related documentation.

  • Processes and verifies employee retirement transactions including retirement-related forms and inquiries.

  • Conducts payroll and benefits audits identifies discrepancies and takes corrective action to ensure accurate and timely payments.

  • Processes and audits employee payroll transactions including new hires prior-period adjustments leave payments and employee deductions.

  • Maintains accurate payroll and benefits records and ensures data integrity between HR systems and payroll.

  • Provides employee assistance and guidance regarding payroll benefits retirement leave and insurance matters while coordinating with state agencies and benefit partners.

Compensation: This position is eligible for the following Special Entrance Rates (SER) for the job titles:

Human Resources Analyst A - $20.20 hr / $1616.00 bi-weekly

Human Resources Analyst B - $21.61 hr / $1728.80 bi-weekly

Human Resources Analyst C - $24.31 hr / $1944.80 bi-weekly
