Coordinate with the Bureau of Global Talent Management (GTM) and other Department HR offices to process personnel actions and ensure compliance with federal HR regulations Provide guidance on position management including position descriptions classification and organizational structure changes Support workforce planning initiatives and analyzing staffing requirements to meet mission objectives Coordinate recruitment and staffing activities for government positions including vacancy announcements applicant screening support and onboarding coordination Maintain HR documentation and personnel files in accordance with federal recordkeeping requirements Prepare HR-related reports metrics and analysis to support data-driven decision making Support special HR projects and initiatives directed by GA leadership Provide training and guidance to supervisors and employees on HR processes systems and policies Assist with organization change management and communication strategies related to personnel matters
Skills/Qualifications: Minimum three (3) years of experience as an HR professional supporting federal government agencies Demonstrated knowledge of federal HR regulations policies and systems (e.g. OPM regulations Title 5 CFR USAJOBS USA Staffing HR Connect or equivalent HRIS) Experience with federal personnel actions including promotions reassignments details and transfers. Strong understanding of federal position classification and organizational design Excellent interpersonal and advisory skills with ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees PHR SPHR or SHRM certification preferred Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Public Administration or a related field required. Location: Washington DC Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation: Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers. Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer. Ability to walk and stand as needed in connection with meetings conferences and domestic or international travel. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability organizational requirements and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $100000-$125000. The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
